The Osama Bin Laden Tape and Your Vote
I know that some of our liberal friends are pointing to this new video from OBL and saying, “See they can be reasonable, he is telling us that if we leave him alone they will leave us alone”. This man is a murderer and a liar, one who has perverted religion in order to gain support in his quest for power. If left alone he will develop and enact further attacks. The only reason we have been safe from attacks thus far at home is that we are engaging these people in Iraq and Afghanistan. By putting our troops into Iraq we are taking on these fanatics in their backyard instead of ours. This puts our troops in harms way, which is what they are trained for and why so many signed up after 9/11. This is also why we must support our troops. Let them know how much you appreciate their service at every opportunity.
I get so angry at the idiot liberal talking heads that describe the war in Iraq as a “distraction” from the war on terror. (Apparently the terrorists were operating in virtually every country in the world except Iraq.) Some statement claiming Iraq is a quagmire with terrorists pouring across the boarders usually follows this. So, as usual with liberal duplicity, they want us to believe that Iraq is both full of terrorists and a distraction from the war on terror. A perfect example of this is Alan Colmes from Fox’s Hannity and Colmes show. While I almost always disagreed with Alan, I had respected him for presenting an honest opposing viewpoint. This election has taught me that he is no different from the other liberal idiots that parrot whatever position their man Kerry takes, even when they must know that it is dead wrong and often different from yesterday. I no longer believe Mr. Colmes to be anything more than an operative of the Democratic Party, certainly not a reputable journalist. In fairness the show is politically driven and Sean Hannity is just as much a mouthpiece for the Republicans, but at least that means Sean is usually right.
These Islamofascists are committed to destroying our way of life. It’s nothing personal mind you, it’s not just us, they hate all non-Muslims. (And often Muslims from other sects, they are equal opportunity bigots.) The solution to making us safe in the long term is to continue to prosecute this war over there. We must be victorious in Iraq. We may need to go to Syria and Iran as well. (And, in a very intriguing article, Ann Coulter makes the case for invading France as a supporter of terrorists.) The point is that our best defense is to be on offense. This is a basic tenet that the left simply refuses to grasp. These people tend to believe that the atrocities such as kidnappings and beheadings are reasons that we should leave. Every wise man knows that the way to best a bully is to stand up to him, if you run the bully will be back to pick on you again, beat his ass and he will leave you alone.
As the OBL tape suggests the security of our country is in our hands, make sure that you make the right choice and remember; 10 out of 10 terrorists agree that Kerry is your best choice.
