This is a response to an anonymous individual from Davie, FL. that mailed some things to Russell without any way to respond back. I find this rather chickenshit response to be normal for those that can dish it out, but can't take it. Of course that is my opinion. For those who don't like my opinion, please email your comments here. Logicdoc

In reply to my friend in Davie :

I would like to thank the anonymous person from Davie , FL that took the time to print out the factcheck.org statements on Kerry’s tax policy and President Bush’s responses. It confirms exactly what I said, that Kerry will raise my taxes. I never made any claim to the 900,000 figure that the Bush campaign uses but neither do I believe that factcheck.org is entirely correct in it’s report either. (They claim roughly half that number will be affected.)

Secondly thanks for the print out from www.johnkerry.com but I’d already read it. In reply I have a question. How can you trust anything this man says or promises? The only people in this country that don’t think Kerry has been all over the board on many issues are those so blinded by partisan ideology that they refuse to question their candidate. (Please acquire and read the book “Intellectual Morons” how ideology makes smart people fall for stupid ideas by Daniel Flynn)

Need an example?

Campaigning in Missouri about a month ago, Kerry began the day saying he was opposed to Missouri 's constitutional amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman. By the end of the day, Kerry was claiming he supported the amendment and, indeed, that his position on gay marriage was identical to Bush's. Later, Kerry retracted his support for the Missouri marriage amendment, telling a gay magazine that he hadn't read the amendment and, in fact, he opposed it. (More campaign slogan ideas: "John Kerry won't just take a stand on the tough issues – he'll take two or three of them!")

Thank you Ann Coulter.

If this isn’t enough I want to know how you can elect a man to be the commander in chief of the armed forces of this country when his entire public life and service is built on trashing it. I don’t want to hear any of this war hero crap. Far more people that were there have come out against him than for him and no matter how much they claim to have discredited the swift vets only Kerry’s story has changed. The fact that these men, many of whom are just as decorated as Kerry, most of whom spent a good deal more time in Vietnam than Kerry, have been the target of a smear campaign should give you pause. The fact that the Kerry campaign has threatened lawsuits against bookstores trying to have the book removed from shelves should bother you greatly. You don’t see anything like this from the Bush campaign.

How about this latest “Issue” with the missing explosives that Kerry has latched onto. The whole story is re-hashed from information released 18 + months ago. And Kerry’s claim that he is only criticizing Bush and not the troops is another ridiculous attempt to be on both sides of the issue. Either the troops did a great job, or they didn’t. President Bush did not, could not, and should not micro manage to the point of designating which of the more than 10,000 ammo dumps in Iraq should be guarded. They make this huge fuss over 377 tons of explosives, ignoring the reports that it was probably more like 3 tons plus the embedded reporters, note I said reporters not producers, who were on the ground there claim they were gone prior to our troops being there. And why doesn’t the press and John Kerry give the troops credit for the more than 400,000 tons of explosives and weapons that have been captured and destroyed?

I also have serious questions regarding John Kerry’s military records. He has not, unlike President Bush, signed the forms that would permit the military to release his records. Why was his release from active duty in 1970 yet his honorable discharge in 1978? I assume he needed a friend (Jimmy Carter) in the white house to sign off on it. There are far more records still hidden than the Kerry campaign has released. If John Kerry has nothing to hide why hasn’t he released these records? I have many questions that I would like to pose to John Kerry but the liberal media will not do anything that might show their candidate in a poor light and those that would ask these questions won’t be given the chance.

I can respect and understand why someone might not support President Bush, but I can’t fathom how any informed American could consider supporting John Kerry. This man has proven time and again to be a liar. From the treason he perpetrated in the early seventies to his many positions on gay marriage, Iraq , religion, and on, and on, and on. This is the man that claims to have had a long conversation with Christopher Reeve while he was in a coma. This is the man that claims he meet with the UN Security Council when several members say they have never met him. This is the man that claims to have plans for everything but then tells you he can’t tell you what they are because he is “Unsure of what he is going to find”. Kerry claims his mothers dying words to him were “integrity, integrity, integrity”. I find it very telling that she saw fit to repeat the message twice to make sure he got it, but he didn’t. If you will look at the man’s history I don’t see how you can call this man honest, or claim that he has integrity or character.

When will you wake up to the truth that this man will say anything that he thinks will get him votes?

Don’t waste your time trying to convince me to cast my lot with John Kerry. I’ve heard the talking points, I’ve read the information on Kerry’s web page, My local newspaper is so far to the left that they constantly report nothing but pro-democrat, anti-republican editorial. I go out of my way to find other viewpoints on things and, occasionally, I have had my mind changed, but not with this man. I not only believe the man is unfit to be our president, I believe he, and Jane Fonda, should have been tried and convicted of treason for their anti war activities of the seventies. Hanoi Jane has apologized for her behavior; Kerry still will not admit that his actions were wrong.
