Random Thoughts From A Conservative Mind
Why is it horrible to execute a murderer but OK to destroy a fetus? Or, for that matter, how do you justify charging the murderer of a pregnant women with two murders while the woman herself should be allowed to destroy the fetus at will? If there is life in the womb then abortion is murder if not then the murderer of the pregnant women is guilty of only one murder. Which is it?
How is it that liberal judges can get away with thwarting the will of the voters? A huge majority of the voters in several states have voted on amendments to define marriage as between a man and a women only to have one person, elected by no-one, impose his or her liberal belief by overturning these laws as unconstitutional. What is truly unconstitutional here are the judges far over-stepping their authority, one going so far as to command an elected legislature to pass a specific law allowing gay marriage!
If the Democrats are truly the party of the “common man” and the Republicans the party of “Big Business” why do the majority of the donated funds for the Democrats come from the ultra rich while the Republicans get most of theirs in the form of small personal donations?
Ted Kennedy gets away with manslaughter while Tom Delay should step down because of alleged ethics violations?
The Democrats have been steadily losing seats in congress since the Reagan presidency. They are now the minority party in both houses of congress, most state legislatures, have fewer governors and no longer control the White House yet they still claim to represent the majority of the people! Is this supreme arrogance or simply delusional denial?
George W. Bush has appointed several blacks and other minorities into positions of importance including the last two secretaries of state. Bill Clinton never appointed a black to any really meaningful post, yet the liberals claim Bush is a racist while often referring to Clinton as the “first black president”. What’s wrong with this picture?
There are numerous examples of liberals disrupting conservative speakers, trying to shout them down, screaming obscenities, throwing food (everything except intelligent debate). I am unaware of any instance where a conservative has done anything like this to a liberal speaker, yet the liberals accuse the conservatives of wanting to stifle debate and incite violence!
Have you noticed in the old media when a democrat says something untrue he either “misspoke” or was “misinformed” while a republican that does it is a liar?
Voinovich sides with democrats and is hailed as a great statesman while Liberman sides with republicans and, if mentioned at all, is misguided.

If most people are liberal, as the Democrats claim, why does conservative talk radio continue to prosper while most liberal formats wallow in obscurity?
