Teddy The Traitor |

I still find it amazing when the idiot liberals in our senate spew their mad accusations. I am so tired of hearing Ted Kennedy and other senators blinded by partisanship accusing Dr. Rice of lying and constantly referring to Iraq as the “failed policy”. In the first place every intelligence agency in the world reported that WMD did exist in Iraq. The previous administration (Clinton) had been saying this for years before Bush. The CIA, while still headed by a Clinton appointee, said that WMD was a slam-dunk. Saddam has a history of using WMD on his own people and there is evidence that the Russians helped him to remove it prior to the fall of his regime. During the Iraq debate the eventual Presidential nominee from the Democrats made several statements confirming his belief that WMD existed and that Saddam was a threat that we needed to deal with. This has all been stated time and again in numerous reports and yet these libs still want to crow over how they were lied to and that WMD was the only reason given for the action in Iraq. Both of these claims are false. |

Now as to Senator Kennedy’s claim that President Bush’s Iraq policy is a “Failed Policy” I must ask; how can a policy still being played out be called a failed policy? Things in Iraq are progressing along the lines we have been told to expect, we handed control to an interim government on schedule, we are having elections as scheduled, the situation as reported by people on the ground in Iraq (at least those without an anti-Bush agenda) tell of an Iraq where things are improving on a daily basis. Kennedy’s claim of a failed policy is his wish not the fact. To call the Presidents policy failed at this stage would have been like saying the Red Sox had a failed season at the all-star break. Why are the liberals all so eager for America to fail? And why do they want the world to believe we have been defeated? The “main stream media” and the liberals in our government said much the same things about Afghanistan but now that they have held elections and are making significant progress toward a working democracy have these people come out and admitted they were wrong? No. Have there been any stories telling us of the improvements made in human rights? No. And where are the stories about the emancipation of the women of Afghanistan? These liberals claim these values yet when the conservatives achieve them all we see is negative spin, complaints, and misleading stories. As was proven in this most recent election most of America sees these people for what they are, lying, anti-American, power hungry, elitists that believe they are superior to the rest of us. These are the same people that label President Bush a racist despite his record of minority support. These people claim to be the party of the common man while having almost nothing in common with the average American. This is the party that promotes the rule of the minority over the will of the majority by appointing activist judges that create law rather than interpret it. When will the rest of the Democrats realize that people like moveon.org are not interested in the good of the majority? And when will the people of Massachusetts realize that Ted Kennedy has become a thoughtless zealot? This man is so far removed from the reality of everyday America he doesn’t have a clue what the daily lives of those he represents are like. He has never known the pressure of running a business. He is deeply invested in old (inherited) wealth so the tax burden he would like to pass on to us barely affects him. His children did not have to contend with public education. And he does not have to rely on Social Security or Medicare for sustenance. Senator Kennedy is a career politician, completely closed minded and oblivious to the reality of life in modern America. He did not earn his wealth. He has committed heinous acts that have been largely ignored. Most of us would have, at the very least, faced manslaughter charges if we had driven a car off of a bridge and left a woman to drown. Yet the people of Massachusetts keep re-electing this man. Whatever Senator Kennedy may have been at one time he has, in my humble opinion, become a traitor to his country and a disgrace to his position. As a proud American I have one request of Senator Kennedy, if you have nothing constructive to say, SHUT UP! |
